GODWIN EHIGIAMUSOE PhD – Managing Director

An internationally acknowledged microfinance practitioner and a social entrepreneur with vast business interests. He has a Doctorate degree in Policy and Development Studies with emphasis on microfinance policy and regulatory frameworks. He founded LAPO as an NGO and has since midwife the organization into a leading microfinance institution with operations in Nigeria and Sierra Leone. He is the recipient of the Grameen Foundation's award for Excellence in Microfinance in 2006, awards for outstanding Entrepreneur from Schwab Foundation and Fate Foundation. He is the author of several published books and articles on microfinance and economic growth. He is currently the Managing Director.


FAITH OSAZUWA-OJO, Executive Director-Risk Management

She has over 18 years of experience in microfinance sector with rich pedigree in risk management. She is an astute Barrister, an alumnus of Harvard Business School and a certified microfinance practitioner; she is an Executive Director and currently heads the Risk Management Department.


STANLEY ORIAKHI - Chief Financial Officer

He has over 15 years' experience as a professional accountant. He is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN), a Certified Microfinance Practitioner and alumnus of Lagos Business School.

Since he joined LAPO in 2001, he has functioned in various capacities in Finance and Operations departments.

 


CYNTHIA IKPONMWOSA - Head, Corporate Secretariat, Legal and Compliance

She has about 20 years' professional experience across various functions in Programme Management, Communication, Legal and Regulatory Compliance. Prior to joining LAPO in 2001, Cynthia had worked with Akintola Williams Deloitte. She is a member of Chartered Institute of Secretaries and Administrators, United Kingdom. She is currently the Company Secretary.

 


ELIJAH OSADEBAMWEN - Head, Operations & IT

He has over 15 years of experience spanning Project Management and Banking Operations. Prior to joining LAPO in 2001, he served as the Local Technical Service Provider for the UNDP Microstart Project in Nigeria and has attended several local and international training programmes. He is an Associate member of the Nigeria Institute of Management, National Institute of Marketing and a Microfinance Certified Banker of The Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria {CIBN}.

 


PAUL EMGBOUKE-Head, General Services

Mr. Emgbouke began his professional career as a Solicitor to a number of law firms and joined LAPO in 2004 as Head, Human Resource Unit. Mr. Emgbuoke has attended courses in People Management, he is a member of the Nigerian Institute of Management (NIM).
