LAPO Launches BRANCHLITE Initiative

LAPO MfB hasjust launched the BRANCHLITE initiative as part of its technology-driven initiatives toboost daily operations. The BRANCHLITE project pilot phase kicked off in September, 2017.

BRANCHLITE is a simple and convenient solution that gives Client Support Officers (CSOs) the mandate and flexibility to post field transactions directly to CBS. With the new technology, CSOs would no longer print field Collection Sheets to Union meetings as they are now empowered with a Tablet that contains an electronic version of Collection Sheets.

LAPO MfB Wins CIBN’s ‘Best Supportive Microfinance Bank of the Year’

LAPO Microfinance Bank clinched the 2016 “Best Supportive Microfinance Bank” at the just concluded Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria (CIBN) Annual Conference Award Dinner held at the Transcorp Hilton in Abuja.    

The award was in recognition of the Bank’s support to the Institute. While presenting the award, Acting Managing Director of the Bank of Industry (BOI), Mr. Waheed Olagunju commended LAPO MfB for supporting the Institute in building human capacity for the banking and finance industry in Nigeria.
